The White Line Foundation
The White Line Foundation was founded in 2023 with a singular mission: to end traffic violence and make streets safe for everyone—cyclists, pedestrians, and drivers alike. Rejecting empty promises and decades-long timelines, their work focuses on immediate, decisive action—combining advocacy, data, technology, and storytelling to confront the root causes of road deaths and demand accountability now.
We are proud to stand alongside The White Line Foundation in this work. As riders and advocates, we believe protecting vulnerable road users demands urgency, accountability, and action—by every effective means available. This partnership reflects our shared responsibility to show up, speak out, and push for safer streets well beyond the bike.
Magnus White was a USA National Champion junior cyclist whose life was cut short in 2023 when he was killed by a motorist during a training ride. His death was a devastating reminder of the everyday risks faced by vulnerable road users and became a catalyst for renewed urgency, accountability, and action around traffic violence and street safety.
In the wake of his death, The White Line Foundation was established to demand change—transforming grief into action. Working nationwide, the organization pushes for stronger laws and accountability, supports families and survivors, and equips communities with tools and resources to demand safer streets—prioritizing immediate action to change driver behavior rather than waiting decades for infrastructure fixes.
Through advocacy and policy work, including support for the Magnus White Cycling Safety Act, The White Line pairs legislation with public education and data-driven accountability to reduce road deaths and protect vulnerable road users. Their goal is ambitious and uncompromising: by 2035, to fundamentally change driving culture so that reckless behavior is no longer tolerated—and to make roads so safe that their work is no longer needed.
